On June 4th, I drew a large chalk mural on the side of the WQED building in Oakland.
The mural was advertising for the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium’s new Sand Tiger Shark exhibit. Plus WQED’s Nature show on Sunday nights. After completing the mural I was asked to do a radio interview, my first. I was told before we began to answer the questions in complete sentences, because only my voice would be heard. To be honest I was skeptical about how it would turn out. The interview aired on the 17th. I was only informed after the interview was aired. However I was given a copy of my interview and permission to post it on my website. The interview is broken up through part of the QED Morning Show. I must say it came out better then I could have guessed. I would like to thank the following people for making it possible. David |
